It’s Election Day. Hopefully, you’ve already voted. Or not. Whatever. My Congressman is going to be re-elected by a bajillion percent whether I like him or not. My Governor too. And I’m using the possessive pronoun there to make myself feel important. I should be allowed to vote by text message, but that’s another column.

Luckily, no matter how boring your statewide and local elections are, there are sure to be some fun ballot measures waiting for your approval or rejection. Louisiana has 14 ballot measures! What the hell are Louisianans paying their legislators for if they have to decide on 14 goddamn laws for themselves?

Let’s take a look at a few of the more interesting ones that maybe haven’t gotten as much press as they deserve.
