Is Justice Ginsburg A 'Bad Jew'?

An account of the Notorious RBG's recent night out on the town.

Of course Justice Ginsburg isn’t a bad Jew! She’s a role model within the Jewish community — a Star of David (affiliate link), if you will.

But Justice Ginsburg did go out last Friday night, instead of staying at home and lighting Shabbat candles. And she went to check out a play about bad Jews, as one tipster told us:

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg attended Friday night’s performance of “Bad Jews” at the Studio Theatre in D.C. and stuck around to hang out with the cast afterwards. Apparently, she talked with them about her actor nephew and “Porgy and Bess.” Also she thought their performances were great, and invited them to come watch her “perform” in session.

The Notorious RBG, live in concert, is not to be missed! Just make sure she’s mic’d up well; sometimes she’s hard to hear.

(You can check out Bad Jews for yourself by buying tickets through the Studio Theatre website. Flip to the next page for photos of Justice Ginsburg posing backstage with cast and crew members.)
