Maybe you’ve gotten cynical about the state of attorney advertising. Folks these days pull out all the stops: puppets as pitchmen, action movie visuals, Superbowl spots, and sex dolls. With the crowded legal market it seems as though law firms will do anything to your attention, and the concept of “over the top” has been lost.

Enter the Russians.

Our friends at Roll on Friday have found a website for a Russian law firm, Avangard, that could easily be mistaken for a modeling agency. Or male escorts.

In a selection of sexually-charged images Pavel Pavlov, the head of Avangard Law Firm, bends at every angle for his client’s viewing pleasure, working it for the camera with a furious pout.

Pavlov also offers an insight into life as a modern-day Plato: “My philosophy: I can’t be a genius 24 hours a day – that wouldn’t leave time to shave“. Although judging by his stubble in some shots, it seems he still hasn’t found the time required.

These pictures aren’t the most scandalous images you’ve ever seen on the internet (not that I’m looking at anyone’s browser history), but remember, this guy is a lawyer. This website is for a law firm. So topless pics with a rogue’s smirk? Well, that isn’t typical.

The pictures largely speak for themselves, but even the copy describing the firm sounds so much like a dating website that the reference to legal services and transactions almost feel incongruous.

A full “Gallery” is available on the website, where pictures of Pavlov wash over you. I have no idea how this guy is as a lawyer, but he nails smizing.

I’ve seen more subtle pictures on Tindr.  Pavlov clearly has a certain type of client in mind, one that he can whisk off their feet. Wouldn’t you like to be that anonymous, but feminine hand?
