Karl J. Sandstrom, a campaign finance lawyer at Perkins Coie who once served on the Federal Election Commission, commenting on the fact that would-be presidential candidate Jeb Bush is skirting federal election law by not declaring his candidacy. Sandstrom says that by not doing so, Bush is “mak[ing] a mockery of the law.”
