A comparison of the number of law school applicants over the last three years.

Did you see that thing on the internet about the eroding value of a law degree? Looks like a lot of people did: the number of aspiring JDs continues to fall.

LSAC has published a comparative look at law school applicants for each of the last three years. As of June 5, there were 327,793 fall 2015 applications submitted by 50,269 applicants. Applicants are down 2.5% and applications are down 4.6% from 2014:

Based on prior years, LSAC figures that these charts represent about 95% of the 2015 fall applicant count.
