— Former professional boxer Santiago Valdez, who’s currently a defendant in an attempted rape trial, in comments apparently directed at Judge Kimberly Dowling during a sua sponte contempt hearing that took place after he interrupted testimony. Valdez, a diagnosed schizophrenic, spoke in tongues during the first day of his trial, and earned himself a 10-day sentence for his remarks.
