Lawyer Loses Manhood -- I Don't Mean Figuratively

A lawyer in the middle of a violent love triangle has paid a hefty price for his actions.

A Japanese lawyer found himself in the middle of a violent love triangle, and according to local reports, has paid a hefty price for his actions. An unnamed lawyer was allegedly diddling a married woman, and her husband did not take kindly to the revelation.

The jilted husband in question is 24-year-old Ikki Kotsugai. A former boxer, Kotsugai is a graduate student at a university in Nakano Ward. (Note to self: don’t hook up with a former boxer’s significant other. That just seems like a good life lesson.) His wife worked at the maimed lawyer’s office and the Courier Mail is reporting she was forced to watch the brutal attack. Which, according to Japan Today, went down as follows:

Police said Kotsugai, who was arrested shortly after the alleged attack, burst into the lawyer’s office in Tokyo’s Minato Ward at around 7:40 a.m. Thursday. He punched the unnamed lawyer several times before prying off his pants and then severing his “lower body part” with the shears.

Other reports confirm that the severed body part was, in fact, the lawyer’s penis. Kotsugai wasn’t done with the brutalization — he allegedly then flushed the severed member down the toilet.

In what is likely cold comfort, according to reports, the police have at least got their man:

He allegedly admitted to the bizarre attack, telling police: “I cut off his genitals and flushed them down a toilet in the law office,” according to local reports.

The (relative) good news is that the injuries are not expected to be life threatening.
