Sexual Hypnosis Allegations Cause Lawyer To Surrender License

Legal career ends in the most bizarre manner possible.

When last we checked in on Ohio attorney Michael Fine, the Ohio Supreme Court had suspended his license over reports that he hypnotized female clients into performing various sexual acts. According to the allegations, he even pulled this stunt on a woman in a courthouse. That was back in November, and while prosecutors still haven’t brought criminal charges (wait, what are they waiting for?), Fine surrendered his law license last week.

Apparently he had little faith in his “Motion And Proposed Order To Get Sleepy, Very Sleepy.”

In case you missed this one, a woman who had hired Fine became suspicious when she experienced missing time and would come out of legal meetings and find that “she was wet in her vaginal area, that her bra was disheveled.” When the police blew off her accusations, she decided to record her next meeting and on the strength of that recording the police took notice and fitted her with a wire. They busted in on a meeting to allegedly find Fine “still describing what sexual activities he wanted the woman to engage in.”

Pretty messed up stuff. Check out the whole sordid tale of code words and relaxation techniques.
