Here are the finalists for our latest caption contest, some of which were pretty great (a few with the most “likes” from readers in Disqus, and a few underrated captions that received the most “likes” from yours truly):

A. A Biglaw associate rehydrates after a long day of drinking away his sad existence.

B. Not only are there no bonuses this year, they have cut back on the severance packages as well. Better take the buyout before they run out of hats and beer.

C. ATL is finally covering the Jones Day associates who didn’t clerk on the Supreme Court.

D. Jones Day HR Drone: Your ears you keep and I’ll tell you why. So that every scream of every partner at seeing your worthlessness will be yours to cherish. Every secretary that snickers at your approach, every client who cries out, “Dear God! I will not pay for that associate’s time,” will echo in your perfect ears.

E. They promised me at orientation that I wouldn’t be treated like a faceless associate — the first of many lies.

F. Jones Day is really more the InBev of the legal world. Available everywhere, not very distinguishable, and completely overpaying for a few “prestige” brands. K&L Gates is more Natty Ice.
