Last week, in the middle of the Legaltech conference, Thomson Reuters held a private event with Nate Silver to launch their much ballyhooed new ediscovery product eDiscovery Point. Now, just about everyone on the market has some kind of ediscovery product (I’m thinking ReplyAll should jump in too!), but as I wrote last week it’s not clear to me that Thomson Reuters is going to put everyone out of business.

But here’s what I do know: Thomson Reuters has invested considerable resources in this project and others in the industry are monitoring this development closely. Now, rather than postulate about what this means for ediscovery and, more importantly, what it means for you and the other lawyers in your practice, I thought I would let you hear it straight from the horse’s mouth. So Eric Laughlin, who is managing director of Legal Managed Services for Thomson Reuters, is going to join me here on ATL for a little back and forth.

As always, these aren’t “live chats,” they are real life conversations developing organically.
