Above The Law Turns Ten Today -- ATL Celebrities: Where Are They Now?

As Above the Law celebrates its tenth anniversary, let us know about your favorite figures from our pages.

questionheadThe legal profession has changed a great deal in the past decade. And over these past ten years, Above the Law has been here to chronicle all the trends and transformations.

Ten years ago today, Above the Law officially launched. If you’d like to take a trip down memory lane, check out the launch announcement — but note, of course, that ATL has evolved in many ways over the past decade as well.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be publishing a series of posts looking back at Above the Law, lawyers, and the legal profession over the last ten years. These stories should provide some fun, nostalgic moments to readers who have been with us since the beginning, and they’ll allow new readers to see what they’ve missed.

One of these stories will focus on ATL “celebrities” — the judges, lawyers, and law students who have starred in our biggest stories here at Above the Law — and offer updates on where they are now. As demonstrated by the popularity of features like E! True Hollywood Story, people always enjoy finding out what happened to their favorite stars.

But who are those favorite stars? As we’ve done throughout our history, we’ll be relying on you, our readers, for help. Please reach out to us with either or both of the following:

  • An ATL “celebrity” that you’d like to learn the fate of (i.e., “whatever happened to so-and-so?”).
  • An ATL “celebrity” whose fate you happen to know (perhaps because this person is a friend or colleague, perhaps because you read about them elsewhere recently, or perhaps because YOU are the celebrity).

You can send these items to us by email, subject line “Where Are They Now – [Celebrity Name],” or by text message (646-820-8477). Please be sure to include the words “where are they now” somewhere in your email or text message, so we can find your tips in our (rather congested) inbox.

Note: for purposes of this feature, we have a bias in favor of happy endings. So we are especially interested in comeback stories — tales of people who have overcome adversity or turned their lives around — as well as stories of successful figures who are still succeeding, all these years later.

We look forward to your submissions. Thank you for your tips, insights, and readership over the years.
