How Much Do You Really Know About Email Investigations?

What do you know?

Antivirus AttackSo, according to my Facebook feed — and thanks to the last couple of months of news television — it seems like all Americans have suddenly become experts in email investigations. But I have to admit, I was a little lost during both the Clinton private server melee and Deflategate. Before Hillary made the cloth remark, you could have easily convinced me that wiping a server did, in fact, involve some sort of shmata. And I’m going out on a limb here, but I think a lot of people, lawyers included, are in that same boat. We know that that you can get rid of emails and/or hide them from investigators, but we’re a little short on details.

Want to understand more about the whole process, test your knowledge out against the experts or know how to plan just in case you become rich and famous and find your emails subject to investigation? Well, you’re in luck because, today, global litigation services provider Fronteo has loaned us their CTO Shamir Colloff, plus Michael Ciaramitaro, their SVP of Forensic Advisory Services. As always, these are not live chats, they are real life conversations taking place on our own schedule, so for the best experience, click below to follow along.
