Associate Bonus Watch: Overjoyed Associates Receive Better Than Market Bonuses

During “Salarygeddon” this summer, when firms fell all over themselves to match Cravath’s associate salary bump, one firm not only matched, but offered a healthy $10K summer bonus to its crew of young attorneys to sweeten the pot. And it turns out the firm is following up its summer generosity with a bonus season premium over the Cravath scale!
Wilkinson Walsh & Eskovitz, the D.C. boutique formed earlier this year by hotshots from Paul Weiss, Munger Tolles, Covington & Burling, Kirkland & Ellis, and Quinn Emanuel, announced that it would be paying out bonuses on December 16th and was quick to note that these are fully independent of the $10K bonuses received in the summer.
Class of 2015: $22,500
Class of 2014: $37,500
Class of 2013: $75,000
Class of 2012: $97,500
Class of 2011: $120,000
Class of 2010: $135,000
Class of 2009: $150,000
Class of 2008: $150,000
