This Is A Stupid Regulation

If you really think about it... it's still dumb.

Utah Republicans have concocted a doozy of an empty gesture to drop on small businesses across the state. In lieu of the vaunted “Zion Curtain,” a comical law that required restaurants to make your drink behind an opaque shield — lest you know what went into your Jack and Coke! — legislators are forcing bars and restaurants to put up signs that spell out whether an establishment is a bar or a restaurant.

Oh Utah, we were starting to have so much hope for you. You were coming up with sensible solutions to homelessness and fighting off Sharknadoes. And now you pull this stunt. Thankfully, the Internet has called you out. Kudos to KUTV for gathering the first clutch of these.
