— an excerpt from a statement released by DLA Piper in the wake of the global Biglaw firm being hit by a Petya ransomware attack earlier this week. The firm is currently working with the FBI and the UK National Crime Agency to determine where the malware came from. Here’s what a partner in the firm’s London office said about the ordeal: “People are managing surprisingly well and using personal emails. It’s annoying. We’re running around trying to keep clients happy. Clients are — so far — being understanding.”
