The Clio Cloud Conference Moves To New Orleans

When a conference is in New Orleans, there's bound to be fun.

The Circuit by Monica Bay - main imageFall is a few weeks away, and it can’t come fast enough this year, at least for me. The weather has been quite nice here in northwest Connecticut, without the usual steaming humidity. In my first year of living full-time in rural New England, I thought I was very careful to avoid the zillions of ticks that populate our region—but my efforts were fruitless. I became one of the zillions of people who got knocked down by Lyme Disease. It’s miserable and scary (it affects eyes) but I’m recovering relatively quickly. Lesson learned and shared: Don’t walk barefoot in New England! Ever! (My California roots got me.)

So that’s why I’m not in Las Vegas (ILTA) or the American Bar Association’s annual meeting in New York City this week. It’s the first time I’ve missed ILTA in more than 20 years. I miss the gang!

I’m now looking forward to heading to the West Coast next month. I’ve been invited by the Clio gang to participate in a day-long conversation with industry experts, as Clio prepares for its next upgrade and its upcoming Clio Cloud Conference 2017, which will be held on September 25 and 26 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in New Orleans. I’ve always been interested in Clio, so I’m delighted to learn more about the team. So let’s take a look at their upcoming conference! Clio anticipates 1,000 lawyers.

The first night is an all-inclusive event at Republic Warehouse that includes catering by local food trucks. The second night, attendees can gather at the iconic House of Blues for a catered buffet dinner, drinks, and outstanding New Orleans entertainment.”
