Why Is LSAC So Worried About The GRE? The LSAT Doesn't Seem To Be In Any Danger
Pre-law students are still *really* eager to take the LSAT.
Law schools may be open to admitting students who have taken the GRE in lieu of the LSAT, but it seems like the Law School Admission Council doesn’t need to be as worried about the rise of the GRE as an admissions tool as it has been. According to the latest LSAC data, there was a 19.8 percent increase in the number of people who took the June 2017 LSAT, when compared to the June administration of the exam the year prior.
This is the largest positive percentage increase for the June test since 1988:
