Former Law School Student, Current Wacko, Charged With Sexual Assault Of A Minor

3D guns guru faces some legal problems.

Cody Wilson became the face of 3D printed guns while a 2L at Texas Law and has since built a little empire out of promising instant instruments of death over the internet, regardless of what court orders might say. Wilson’s the sort of right-wing anarchist who doesn’t care much for society’s rules. According to law enforcement, that disdain extends to laws against statutory rape as well.

Wilson was just arrested by police after allegedly having sex with a girl under the age of 17 that he met on sugardaddymeet.com, a website that doesn’t allow anyone under 18 to use its services but… you know. Strict liability offenses and all that. Authorities say he also paid the girl $500 which seems to blow past the “sugar daddy” arrangement into outright prostitution. Police have video of Wilson meeting the girl, leaving a coffee shop with her, and taking her to a hotel, which certainly doesn’t sound encouraging for Wilson.

From Time:

According to legal documents, Wilson’s accuser told Child Protection Services that she created an online profile on the website sugardaddymeet.com and exchanged messages with someone with the screen name “Sanjuro” and began texting. Over text, “Sunjuro” identified himself as Cody Wilson and said he was a “big deal.” The girl told authorities she didn’t know who Wilson was and read news articles about him to learn more, the affidavit said.

Ha. Obviously, these allegations are unproven, but if one thing rings true, it’s that, of course this overcompensating gun nut would think he’s a “big deal” and use this to impress a 16-year-old he’s paying for sex. That’s the best part of this otherwise sad story. Dude, you’re not even Jared from Subway famous enough to be considered a big deal among sex offenders. Even if you’re convicted you’ll be solidly D-List among that august group.

Maybe next time he should just 3D print himself a sex doll. You know, really devote himself to staying on brand.
