Job of the Week: Chi-Town Patent Demand Continues to Rise

Above the Law presents its Job of the Week.

Few cities in the world are able to produce an eclectic mix of entertainment, cuisine, entertainment, and character, but Chicago manages to do just that. The metro area’s population ranks third in the United States. Whether you live in the city or in the suburbs, you’ll find there is plenty to do, regardless of your personal interests. Second City, like many other legal markets, has a strong and growing demand for IP patent attorneys, both prosecution and litigation, and this opportunity from Lateral Link may be one that you never have thought you’d set your eyes upon.

Position: Patent/IP Litigation Associate

Description: A global firm with a top-notch IP practice seeks a junior- to mid-level patent/IP litigation associate for its Chicago office. A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in either patent/IP litigation or general complex litigation is needed. This position is open to all attorneys interested in relocating from other legal markets, but a degree in electrical engineering is required.

Location: Chicago, Illinois
