Let’s face it – being a lawyer can be stressful. Especially now, when it’s the middle of winter, the holiday season has just come to an end and spring seems like it’s an eternity away.
For any attorneys feeling stressed, anxious or simply overwhelmed, Lawline faculty member Cynthia Pong, founder of Embrace Change, recommends a healthy dose of self-care: Remember to eat well, exercise and hold onto those anchors outside of work that are most important. To see Cynthia in action and learn more about managing stress in your practice, watch our CLE program, Ethics in a High-Stress, High-Stakes Legal Work Environment.
Cynthia has dedicated her career to helping “professionals in high-stress industries make sure they can be their best selves at work, be happy, feel more fulfilled, do better work and live fuller lives,” she says. That’s why she recently shared this 2-minute meditation to help attorneys going through difficult times or in need of a breather. She created the video in accordance with her own life philosophy – to put as many positive attributions into the world as possible. Let’s follow her example and remember to take care of ourselves and others whenever necessary!
