David Schnurman is the CEO of Lawline, the leading provider of online Continuing Legal Education (CLE) in the country. The company recently celebrated over 130,000 attorneys on its website with over 2,000,000 courses completed.

His number one priority at Lawline has always been to create a unique company culture that encourages learning, collaboration and innovation, and this culture has been recognized by many organizations, including Crain’s and New York State Society of Human Resources.  In addition, Lawline’s success has been recognized by The Wall Street Journal, Inc. Entrepreneurship

David is very passionate about making lifelong learning a regular part of everyone’s individual’s day. In law school, he started TrueNYC, an online website and public access TV show that featured video interviews and advice from entrepreneurs. David is also an active member in the entrepreneur community and is a member of the Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO) and the Young Entrepreneur Council (YEC). Recently, David was appointed  to the board of EO NY as the mentorship chair. He is a strong networker and influencer in the legal and entrepreneur community that is highly respected by his peers.

Speaking & Writing

David actively speaks at high schools, colleges, and businesses on topics ranging from marketing, leadership, culture, and entrepreneurship. He also writes for Forbes and other business publications on the topics of entrepreneurship and business. He believes teaching is the best form of learning and every speaking opportunity is a form of networking.

Passion

David has a love for adventure and discovery. He is an avid marathon runner, has paraglided in the Colorado Mountains, gone skydiving, and taken flying lessons. David currently lives in Park Slope, Brooklyn with his wife Kelli and three beautiful children.
