Kerr is right on point. As munch as I hate to admit it...he's a self-righteous blowhard, but the day should start no later than 8:30. Anyone who comes in late at CP&S is given opne warning, and then fired the next time for performance reasons (also the excuse we use to lay-off the fatties.) No tubsters here at CP&S. Don't be an entitled d-bag Mystal, fact of the matter is these people work for a boss, and it is not up to these associates to make the decisions. If you only get into work in time to "do the work you have" then you will never be available for more.

I sure hope they cut that Human Resources department. I can't stand HR women...they have this over-inflated sense of importance with absolutely no skills to show for anything. Truly the most insufferable people in all of business. Not to mention they are usually severely overweight...again, no tubsters here at CP&S

Don't sugarcoat it hun...your industry is worthless. You don't need a college degree, let alone a masters, to spend all day on the phone bitching with payroll/healthcare provider, talking gossip with the other overweight 30 somethings, aqnd monitoring vacation days.

Do the HR people get severance? They deserve immediate termination and no severance for being completely useless, overly annoying, and fat!

This discussion about children and lawyers is complete muck! Fact of the matter is, if you are talented successful lawyer you are likely to selfish to be a good parent and thus should not subject a child to your poor parenting skills.

This Christopher Johnson Jr. fellow is a professor at Thomas Cooley. I am very skeptical of a faculty member from a school of indolents leading a committee on accreditation. I would love to see no more than 100 law schools in the country, but it is unlikely a committee where the most respectable member is from Catholic University is going to accomplish anything positive.

I though about this long and hard, but I have finally come to a decision. This firm is run by complete HACKS! There are certain parts about MoFo's no BS position that I like, however, they are officially Hacks!

I feel bad for those deferred associates who will turn into hacks themselves once they join the firm for $90,000 in Big Markets..hahaha.

Just to rest some people's worried minds, Crane Poole & Schmidt will be holding OCI's at all Top 20 schools this year, with the natural exception of UPenn State. I believe most AmLaw 100 and AmLaw 200 are not conducting OCI's at UPenn State...terrible terrible lawyers come out of that school!

As for this increased availability of lending to law firms, you associates should be jumping for joy...perhaps now we will not see as much of a need for layoffs and pay-cuts since firms will be able to get through the first quarter on credit...

This should be an excellent lesson to all staff and associates at a law firm.
-No matter how "important" you think you are, or how much you think those people value your opinion (likely a dilusion created in your own psyche due to lawyers being respectful and humoring your self-righteous babbling all along) NO ONE CARES ABOUT WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY! I

If you are a legal secretary, that is all you are...do your job, shut your mouth, and bitch to your girlfriends.

This assistant was surely the biggest HACK at a firm full of HACKS...if you ask me this woman should have been fired long ago for being an indolent waste of money.

I would also venture to guess she is fat...and as you all know we do not allow tubsters here at CP&S
