Thanks ATL for the show of support to the many non-lawyers also losing their jobs or unable to find work in this economy. According to various recent articles, no one is in agreement about who is safer in law firms these days: legal secretaries, paralegals or lawyers. Those of us who are left are dealing with greater case loads and less administrative support, and we're nervous about what the future holds. But we're still a team.
Attorney Dino Saur felt a vague sense of unease when he realized he hadn't heard a peep out of his paralegal's office in two days and wished he'd been nicer when she suggested that the office go paperless.
