I was once laid off as the Sexual Harassment Panda. It was sad. I got to spend some funemployment downtime on the Island of Misfist Mascots, but in truth, I was glad to stumble into my new job as the Don't Sue People Panda. Thanks Stan & Kyle!!

Oh yea, unemployment is definitely not like welfare. Comment 22 is correct. In addition, in many states, the employee himself/herself actually pays a small unemployment tax as well. I believe this is one of the reasons why states surrounding NY have higher unemployment compensation rates, because the employees themselves actually pay into the funds as well as the employer. Consider it like Aflac, I guess.

This Panda believes that you all have it backwards.

The students are not Protesting. They are not protesting "No Layoffs" for themselves. Nor are they protesting "no layoffs" for themselves.

They are simply bragging to their parents. In the vein of "hi mom!!" What they are bragging about is that none of the Harvard Law grads were laid off or rescinded or deferred.

Chemerinsky was a decent lecturer at my BarBri three years ago. Dorky, no doubt, but to this day, I still remember that the federal government only has MILD police powers.

I wonder why he's only shown in California. I understand he's the new dean at UC Irvine, but Con Law is pretty much the same everywhere.

Uh-Oh. Do I sense potential sexual harassment by the judge? Glad to hear that Paris played along though.

If the plaintiff's attorney is a female, can she claim sexual harassment? Hostile work environment? Some type of favoritism toward pretty girls who flirt? Oh man, thank God I'm no longer the Sexual Harassment Panda.

BTW, I heart Paris Hilton. I even like her singing. "Nothing In This World" has a pretty nice beat. And the first time I heard "Stars Are Blind," I didn't know it was Paris and thought it was a real singer like Gwen Stefani or something.

Her new song should be "Justice isn't blind."
