60 - so, if I get what you are saying, those that survive this mess in big law will be better situated when compared to the next decade of layers?

Its gonna do what it do . . .

60 - so, if I get what you are saying, those that survive this mess in big law will be better situated (financially) when compared to the next decade of layers?

Its gonna do what it do . . .

71 - that makes a fair amount of sense. Its suprising that I would get that while having a stupid avatar and quoting the chitlin' circuit

So, that leads to my next question, what happens to the supply of lawyers, i.e., lawyer factories aka schools .

12 - nice job.

10 - I read it the same way that Marin and Elie read the question. If the question submitter really was thinking about lateraling later, why would 2L summer be important? Perhaps I am missing something, but going back for 2L would almost like leading them on.

Partner E: bad call on the sleeve lengths, and I doubt you actually caught someone doing the suspender/belt thing. Otherwise, not to shabby.

Lime green = no; but pale green/pink are acceptable for casual friday, where casual friday = dress slacks, sports coat and tie. However, its only on Friday and when you are feeling particularly festive and when there is no chance that you will see a client (yours or anyone else's).

For a peer firm, I am sure you subscribe to the rotation of white and light blue shirts, with an occasional french blue thrown in -- on special occasions.

Its gonna do what it do. . . .

Partner E: What about me? We had such a nice discussion about fashion in the other thread -- and I'm blind, and quite possibly dead too.
