I was at the top of the class so the experience was great – lots of opportunities at big firms, lots of attention from faculty and administration, etc… It was pretty clear that those not in the top 10% had a very different experience and a much harder time getting “elite” positions. For those who wanted a ton of local ties and a more local practice, it seemed to work out, though.

There are many, many scholarship opportunities if you ask about them. Also be sure to see if you qualify for the Minority Student Program (MSP) even if you don’t think you will – it’s a great tool and lets in people who sometimes don’t expect to be qualified.

This school focuses a lot on public interest, but there has been a recent push to increase the depth of corporate and business classes they offer.

Only about max of 8 people in each class will get a big firm job in NYC.
