Announcing An Award For Lawyers

An opportunity to receive well-deserved recognition.

Who doesn’t like winning awards? Unfortunately, so many of the awards handed out in this profession have a direct or indirect pay-to-play feel to them and if an award isn’t about genuine recognition, it loses some of that luster. Who really wants to be known as a “UltraLawyer” at that point?

Which is why it’s great to see Clio announce the opening of the second annual Reisman Awards to honor those redefining the legal industry.

Named after Clio’s very first customer, Catherine Merino Reisman, the Reisman Awards recognize Clio customers who demonstrate excellence and innovation in the following four categories:

  • Best Growth Story will honor a firm that has experienced exceptional gains.

  • Best New Law Firm will honor a newcomer who has weathered the trials of entrepreneurship and come out on top.

  • Community Champion will honor a firm or organization that prioritizes giving back to their community, whether it be through pro bono work, donations, volunteering, mentorship, or another altruistic activity.

  • Legal Innovation will honor a practice that has successfully challenged industry norms, either through technology, delivery of legal services, or meeting the needs of a non-traditional market.

It’s a good opportunity to present your firm’s story to the world and collect some well-earned recognition. Finalists receive a complimentary pass to the Clio Cloud Conference in New Orleans, October 4-5, 2018, as well as a professional video highlighting their firm, and the winners will be presented a trophy, a Clio press release, and recognition in future Clio marketing materials.

Submissions are due March 22, and you can enter here.
