The Greatest Law School Movie Of All Time
Twitter makes an incredibly compelling case for this film.
While the ABA Journal is updating their list of the 25 greatest legal movies to include some recency bias, they still only place two true law school movies — The Paper Chase and Legally Blonde — on their list. And if you’re not counting Rounders, those are probably begrudgingly the best law school movies around.
But on Wednesday, someone went ahead and wrote this:

Delightful analysis, but ultimately wrong. Did anyone ever look at that Golden Ticket? By using the ticket, the bearers and their guests waived all potential claims against the Willy Wonka Corporation (a subsidiary of Halliburton). And even if they wanted to challenge the validity of this agreement, they consented to binding arbitration before a panel of Wonka’s choosing, specifically Miss Trunchbull, Aunt Spiker, and Aunt Sponge applying the law of Loompaland.
But this inspired attorney Mark Jaffe or Tor Ekeland Law to offer his detailed breakdown of why Willy Wonka deserves to be considered the greatest law school movie ever.
