Sunday morning, Donald Trump responded to reports that he was concerned his son was a target of the Mueller investigation into Russian interference with our election by… tweeting out that his son lied to Congress and tried to conspire with Russians to gather dirt on Hillary Clinton.
It’s a bold move! It’s not every day that you see a father implicate his child in a conspiracy to defraud the American election system to deflect from reports that he defrauded the American election system. It’s like shooting the hostage, only if the hostage was your kid and he hadn’t been taken captive yet.
