Latham Offers Up Big Bonus Bucks For Associates
Got a case of the Mondays? Not anymore!
It’s a new week, and Biglaw special bonuses are still coming in hot.
Latham, one of the most profitable Biglaw firms in the country, with $3,767,623,000 gross revenue in 2019, just surprised its lawyers with big bonuses to start the day.
The firm is matching the scale set by Davis Polk, paying out up to $64,000 depending on class year. Here’s what it looks like at the #2 firm in America:

Latham will be making its payments on May 14 and October 15. Associates will only be eligible for payouts if they are “at or above their individual hours budget” as of April 30 and September 30. It doesn’t seem like the firm will be offering associates the chance to play catch-up with their hours for future make-up bonus payments, as a few other firms have offer.
Better start billing, Latham associates. Congratulations!
