How Are Millennials Changing Law Firm Culture?

We want to know what you think of law firm life.

diversity law firm young minority lawyers of colorWe recently launched a series of short surveys in partnership with our friends at Major, Lindsey & Africa to capture the perspectives of the millennial generation and examine their growing influence on the cultural landscape.

We want to learn about the views of younger lawyers — many of whom are now partners at their firms — and help determine what differentiates them from their older colleagues. Do shared generational attitudes transcend the partner-associate divide? What impact, if any, is that having on law firm policies?

Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts. Note that, as always, these surveys are completely anonymous.

  1. Part one concerns workplace priorities, addressing topics as varied as associate-partner dynamics, diversity and inclusion, mentorship, and work-life balance.
Click here to take part one: Priorities.
  1. Part two addresses career goals. Is partnership still a brass ring worth chasing, or has it lost its shine? What does your future look like?
Click here to take part two: Goals.
  1. Part three focuses on generational differences. We want to know your views on compensation practices, associate workloads, bias in the legal industry, and firm leadership.
Click here to take part three: Generational Differences.

We appreciate your time. Your feedback will help us benchmark what lawyers really want in an upcoming report.

(And please note that we are not exclusively interested in hearing from millennials; lawyers of all ages are encouraged to participate!)
