Law Jobs for Humans. Now, with more humans!

Join us in Chicago on April 24, 2019!

Law Jobs for Humans is coming up! And it’s going to rock. If you haven’t heard of Law Jobs for Humans, it’s the legal professional development event I’m helping to put on with Above the Law and Irene Mo and Bill Henderson on April 24, 2019 in Chicago, Illinois.

I’m about to give you a dozen more reasons why you should come, but here are three that I wrote about last week. Or, if you’re not sure whether you’re the right human for Law Jobs for Humans, check this out.

But the big news is that we’ve continued to grow our roster of amazing speakers. As a refresher, we’ve got the three elements as the centerpiece for Law Jobs for Humans: (1) a handful of employees who are currently working in the law jobs of tomorrow talking about how they found their roles, (2) a panel of employers talking about what they’re looking for in candidates for the law jobs of tomorrow, and (3) a group of academics talking about how they’re teaching and training the next generation of legal professionals.

And we’ve got some really great people!

We’re pleased to announce the following speakers for Law Jobs for Humans, freshly added to the event:

Richard Benson, PwC

  • Richard Benson is Transfer Pricing Associate at PwC Chicago. A graduate of the University of Indiana, Bloomington law school and protege of our event chair, Bill Henderson, Richard is bringing his legal background to bear with PricewaterhouseCoopers. PwC, like other Big 4 competitors, is looking increasingly menacingly at biglaw’s margins. And we at Law Jobs for Humans think this is just dandy.

Miguel Willis, LSAC

  • To know Miguel is to be blown away by Miguel. Miguel is one of the hardest working, most entrepreneurial lawyers I know. And he hustled this hard through law school too. The founder and driving force behind the Access to Justice Tech Fellows Program Miguel now holds an amazing job at the Law School Admissions Council running the A2J Tech Fellows but also working on a number of other initiatives.

Our slate of speakers is almost full (you can see those that we invited and previously confirmed here) but we’ve still got a few tickets left for attendees to join us. You can get tickets here. Also, stay tuned for more content about Law Jobs for Humans in the coming weeks.

Also, if you or your company want to be a part of this amazing event, we have a few really innovative sponsorship opportunities to allow you to align your company or brand with the Law Jobs for Humans movement. Download the prospectus here.
