The MyCase Customer Conference kicked off with a bang, as the company announced new acquisitions to enhance its practice management platform, adding Soluno, Woodpecker, and CASEpeer. Another step in the ongoing consolidation of the legal tech space as companies strive to give users a better “one-pane” interface to perform every task under one roof.<\/p>\n
Soluno joins as a fully cloud-based accounting system for law firms. Firms still running on legacy desktop accounting systems can move to an integrated cloud experience within the MyCase environment. We already talked about the benefits of upgrading accounting software this morning, so this announcement is particularly timely.<\/p>\n
Woodpecker provides a Word-based, attorney-friendly legal document automation system designed to standardize and productize legal documents — another time-saving finding from the earlier report. Woodpecker uses existing client information, If\/Then Statements, and formula calculations to speed document creation.<\/p>\n
Finally, CASEpeer offers a turnkey, cloud-based Legal Practice Management Software exclusively focused on meeting the unique needs of Personal Injury firms. That means medical treatment tracking and monitoring for personal injury KPIs, from lead sources to medical treatment.<\/p>\n
Beyond the acquisitions, MyCase announced new features to its core product with MyCase Drive offering “a complete desktop document management solution that syncs to MyCase, allowing firms to efficiently find and organize documents using their computer’s file explorer and advanced search capabilities” and MyCase Accounting — coming in 2022 — that “centralizes a law firm\u2019s financial data, eliminates redundant data entry across multiple systems, and ensures trust compliance with easy, three-way reconciliation.”<\/p>\n
