Or maybe it&#8217;s just that Judge Roy Ferguson&#8217;s courtroom is cursed.<\/p>\n<p>The 394th District Court enjoyed Internet notoriety after <a href=\"https:\/\/abovethelaw.com\/2021\/02\/im-not-a-cat-the-best-zoom-court-mishap-yet\/\">Lawyer Cat appeared at a virtual hearing<\/a>. At the time, lawyer Rod Ponton couldn&#8217;t figure out how to turn off a camera filter that transformed him into a talking cat.<\/p>\n<p>Judge Ferguson probably thought Lawyer Cat would be the end of it, but it turns out an unintended sequel was in the works all along.<\/p>\n<p>Or Squeakquel as the case may be:<\/p>\n<div class=\"responsive-embed\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">First we had <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/LawyerCat?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#LawyerCat<\/a>. Despite the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Zoom?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@Zoom<\/a> audio glitch, this lawyer&#39;s professionalism never wavered.
