The court, and its employees, are working collaboratively with all stakeholders through this crisis and remain committed to ensuring the highest levels of justice delivery and access to our judiciary system across New York State.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: larger\"><strong><em>&#8212; Al Baker, director of communications for the New York Office of Court Administration, in a statement given on how today&#8217;s global technology outage has affected the New York court system. A source told the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.law.com\/newyorklawjournal\/2024\/07\/19\/global-tech-outage-affects-ny-court-system-statewide-early-friday\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New York Law Journal<\/a> that &#8220;[c]ourt employees arrived at work to find their desktop systems were inaccessible,&#8221; and further noted that &#8220;[d]esktops across the system were rendered inoperative.&#8221; Baker, however, added, &#8220;No significant disruptions to in-person, courthouse operations are being confronted so far.&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-441281\" src=\"https:\/\/abovethelaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2016\/11\/Staci-Zaretsky.jpg\" alt=\"Staci Zaretsky\" width=\"150\" height=\"100\" \/><em><a href=\"https:\/\/abovethelaw.com\/author\/staci-zaretsky\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Staci Zaretsky<\/a>\u00a0is a senior editor at Above the Law, where she&#8217;s worked since 2011.
