The (Monday) Morning After: A Conversation About Obergefell With David Lat
ReplyAll conversationalist Zach Abramowitz chats with Above the Law managing editor David Lat about the Supreme Court's big gay marriage ruling.
I think the Supreme Court’s decision in Obergefell v. Hodges might be one of those landmark moments where you will remember years from now exactly where you were when you heard the news (duh, Facebook!). When I heard the news (via Staci Zaretsky’s feed), I immediately thought of David Lat and how he must be experiencing this moment, which was convenient because David quickly published a story about the Court’s decision.
Long before I started writing for ATL, I was an ATL reader. I have been reading David Lat since I was a 1L back in December of 2007. I was in the midst of writing him an email, when I realized I might not be the only person who wanted to hear more from David about the Court’s ruling on gay marriage. So rather than keep our emails private, we’ll dialogue right here on ATL.
Side note: in addition to being the founder and editor of Above the Law, David is also the author of Supreme Ambitions (affiliate link), which features a marriage-equality case as a central plot element.
