A few of the top 5 PE fund formation practices in Hong Kong, at top US firms, have mid-level US associate openings.
The key Hong Kong-based hiring partners for one of the openings will be in New York in late June for a few days and has asked Kinney to arrange their interviews with candidates then.
It is expected that the new hires for both firms may come from the New York market. One of these two openings does not require Mandarin.
Both firms will be very selective regarding JD academics and quality of deal sheet. The new hires will surely come from a top-tier PE fund formation practice.
