Kinney Recruiting is working exclusively for one of its long-standing sophisticated boutique law firm clients in Michigan. Our client is looking for a mid-level commercial litigation associate with 3-5 years of experience and a desire to try cases. Specific experience includes excellent research and writing skills, deposition experience, court appearances, and advising clients on a myriad of issues ranging from employment counseling to general commercial litigation. This position will work directly with the partner leading this search and will get hands-on litigation and client-facing work. The partner is known to be a great mentor with a sense of humor and someone who really cares about training her associates. Traveling will be necessary from time to time since most of the firm's cases are outside of Michigan and trials are all over the US. The firm rewards attorneys for their hard work so the more motivated and ambitious you are, the more money you will make! Benefits are provided. This is NOT a REMOTE POSITION and in-office attendance is mandatory as the group is litigation heavy and a very hands-on firm. You will not be stuck doing document review.
