Directory of Law School Innovation Centers
The role of AI and other emerging technologies in law schools is still nascent, although a handful of institutions are pioneering the integration of new technologies into legal education. One indicator of an institutional commitment to integrating emerging technologies are the “innovation centers” being launched by law schools around the country, with Michigan State’s LegalRnD and Oklahoma University’s Center for Technology and Innovation being exemplars. The Directory presented here lists only those institutions that have established centers with distinct institutional identities and technology – and innovation-focused missions. (By no means can this approach capture all the varieties of innovation being undertaken in the legal academy–for a comprehensive guide, please consult Professor Dan Linna’s Law School Innovation Index.)
