The annual Wolters Kluwer ELM Solutions Users Conference (ELM19) took place earlier this week in Miami, Florida, bringing together experts, peers, and partners for two days of panels, workshops, trainings, roundtables, and networking opportunities. Above the Law’s Brian Dalton attended the event, and while there, caught up with Wolters Kluwer’s Vince Venturella and Jonah Paransky with a live-stream interview.

The conversation primarily addressed the launch of Wolters Kluwer’s LegalVIEW Predictive Insights Module, and how it will help grapple with the challenge of how to better manage litigated matters in an age where critical litigation management decisions are guided by intuition and experience, often with sub-par results. The Module is intended to improve the law firm selection process and the budget management process during the matter cycle by using predictive analytics in their everyday workflow.
