August 18, 2020 – Chicago, IL – Litera announced today the launch of its latest version of Litera TV, its popular streaming platform, which now includes a catch-up TV service, brand new interface and content recommendations. The platform now includes a Netflix-style user experience that makes it easy to find previous episodes of shows, trending content, and makes it easy to discover other related content.

The service will also be adding two of legal tech’s most influential figures as part of the regularly scheduled programming.

  • Adriana Linares – President and founder of consulting group, LawTech Partners, Adriana has worked for several years as a legal technology and practice management consultant and has handled training and education at law firms, in-house legal departments, and legal tech startups.
  • Catherine Bamford – CEO and founder of BamLegal, a team that helps law firms improve their service delivery using technology, and former director of legal engineering at Deloitte, Catherine is known for her popular BamBytes video series which covers legal technology.

Julian Morgan, Chief Marketing Officer at Litera, said, “There is a wealth of great video content across the legal tech community, but it’s all over the place and often easy to miss. Our hope is that by evolving the platform we can create something of a Netflix-type experience for legal tech that makes it much easier to watch and discover the best shows around. We plan to continue growing Litera TV to include even more top content, which is why we’re excited to have Adriana and Catherine join our superb lineup of hosts.”

Litera is also announcing its plan for #literacon – an all-day live broadcast of coverage during next week’s ILTACON, including expert analysis of the sessions, and interviews with legal tech’s biggest names. #literacon will be hosted by Caroline Hill, editor of Legal IT Insider, and Bob Ambrogi, editor of LawSites, on Litera TV.

Ambrogi said, “I’ve seen from experience that the nature of virtual conferences can make it more difficult to connect with other attendees and discuss what’s happening during the event. I’m excited to be a host for #literacon and provide viewers with engaging coverage of ILTAON by bringing them analysis of sessions, interviews with keynote speakers, and highlights from the week’s content. I believe we’re filling a gap for attendees by bringing them unique insights and perspectives that really complement the event.”

Hill said: “This is an entirely new way for audiences to engage with ILTACON content and a great way to make sure that audiences engage with the virtual ILTA>ON conference. ILTA has long supported the legal industry and we need to make sure we support it back at this most challenging time. I look forward to doing that with #literacon.”

#literacon’s daily coverage will take place from 10am to 4pm CT during ILTAON, August 24-28. Catch #literacon live starting next week and all the rest of Litera TV’s shows on demand at litera.tv.
