Venture Capital/Emerging Company Associate Attorney

Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton is seeking a California-admitted, corporate associate with 3-4 years of corporate experience at a major law firm in Silicon Valley to build out our emerging company, venture capital and transactional team in Palo Alto (downtown Palo Alto location with parking). This is an excellent opportunity to build a practice while getting great experience in a vibrant and growing office. Top academics are required; please include your transcript with your resume. For this position, we are looking for someone who has completed a significant number of venture capital financings and experience working with emerging private technology companies. The ability to work with other team members and clients, and “take ownership” of projects, is essential.
