A Deflategate Email Exchange (Part 2)

A chat about the Southern District of New York case against the NFL.

Earlier this year, Peter King told me in an interview here on ATL that the NFL’s biggest legal issue was head injuries and player safety.  While that may still be true, the NFL’s biggest headache has become Deflategate and Tom Brady’s lawsuit against the NFL. Earlier this summer, Houston Chronicle blogger Steph Stradley and I exchanged emails right here on ATL and both of us believed that Tom Brady ought to take this fight to court. Three months later, the case is in the Southern District of New York led by Jeff Kessler, the proverbial thorn in the side of the NFL. Over the last three months, Steph has been getting recognized for her coverage of deflategate.  After yesterday’s hearing, I wanted to get someone to help me make sense of the current situation, so I’ve invited Steph back for another epic email exchange.
