Could A Supreme Court Justice Be Drafted Into The Presidential Race?

Conservatives dissatisfied with the 2016 field are chirping about a Supreme Court justice making a run.

None of them now plans to run. None of them wants to run. None of them may be required to run for the sake of the country. But isn’t it worth at this point pushing the door a bit ajar?

Historically, the Supreme Court hasn’t been as isolated from electoral politics as we’re used to in the modern era.
