I do not feel confident making a definite prediction about Judge Garland’s chances. If Secretary Clinton were to win the presidency, I think it is not unlikely that the Republicans will approve his nomination in a lame-duck session, especially if the election shows that the Democrats have won the election. I think Judge Garland’s approval would be quite likely if Donald Trump were to win the presidency.
