7. MoloLamken: Here’s how the firm explained its space to us:
Thank you for inviting us to provide a look inside our space in New York. We occupy the entire 25th Floor at 540 Madison Avenue, a boutique building with a modern feel that we believe reflects our attitude as a firm. We are the only law firm in the building, with the rest of the tenants being primarily hedge funds, private equity firms, and family offices.
Our practice is exclusively complex litigation — a broad range of business disputes, including securities and antitrust; white collar defense and investigations; and IP. We believe it is critical that our environment enhance our work and our daily business lives. So, it has to foster collaboration, promote efficiency, and provide a certain amount of fun.
When you walk though our space, you see a fair amount of glass, furniture that is functional and comfortable, and colorful abstract art. While people have private offices, there is considerable space devoted to team activities — like our courtroom, where we work with witnesses before trials or depositions and conduct moot courts before arguments. The courtroom and our conference rooms also are great spaces for impromptu meetings where we might brainstorm and whiteboard an issue, or gather to watch a CLE presentation.
We hope the photos we have provided give you a feel for not only our space, but also who we are and how we work.
The folks at MoloLamken sent a lot of photos our way. We whittled them down to some highlights:

A modern and chic associate office. If Mad Men were set in 2012, I’d imagine it might look like this:
