This isn’t the first rocker to make the jump to law school. Longtime readers may remember Blind Melon’s Rogers Stevens joining the Biglaw ranks at Ballard Spahr. And some lawyers go the other direction and become indie music stars. But Dave Johnson of The Glasspack continues this proud tradition as he awaits graduation from the University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law.

Yeah, that sounds like a great plan. Johnson plans to work in the community and eschew government gigs and big business clientele. Noble goals… we’ll see how his creditors feel about that.
