Our law firm division, Lateral Link, and our sister in-house division, Cadence Counsel, a WBE certified by the CPUC, are both hiring recruiters across all of our major markets (as well as 1L interns from local law schools).

Unlike a lot of our competitors, we are large enough to provide the strongest resources (Leopard Solutions, LinkedIn Recruiter, a proprietary CRM and database, admin support, and marketing/business development investment), while small enough not to oversaturate any one market (and in fact have open territories for partner placements, given relationships that span the globe).

5. Compensation and Mobility. Our compensation system is well above market. We pay 50-70% commissions, plus up to 15% performance bonuses, plus large Principal bonuses. In short, that’s around 50% higher than the other firms in our market. We are not flat, and there is room for upward mobility within the firm.

6. We Have Fun Together. At Lateral Link and Cadence Counsel, we enjoy working together. Our team gets together frequently at conferences, events, regional retreats, and our annual Las Vegas retreat, where we fly in everyone (including our Asia-based recruiters) to celebrate the year.
