Best Hate Mail Of The Spring

We get hate mail all the time here, but this one is special.

It’s been a while since I did a hate mail dump, and this isn’t a full one because I haven’t made controversial statements like “black people should not be shot to death by the police” or “Nazis are bad” recently. But I did receive one email over the Memorial Day weekend that I just have to share. Frankly, I shouldn’t be the only one who gets to enjoy such things.

Last week, I wrote about Betsy DeVos’s patently idiotic assertion that it was up to individual school districts to report undocumented children to ICE.

That article apparently really pissed off a reader, and it inspired him to send me the following message. All errors and capitalization choices are in the original.

You fucking MORON calling Devoss an Idiot for not following a pathetic supreme court ruling shows how fucking retarded you are.

So the same said court who ruled in favor of Jim Crow laws is somehow the higher authority ONLY WHEN it agrees with your POV?

Fucking Dumbass FUCKOFF you IDIOT!!!!!

Yesss… I can feel your anger. It makes you dumber, gives you stupidity.

Back in the day, this would have been sent to me by regular mail, and all the words would have been cut out from magazine articles.

Should be a fun summer as we head to the midterms!
