There is a little value in confirmation hearings where you can learn about who the nominee is as a person, their mannerisms, their judicial philosophy. But at this point, we aren’t even learning that—I’m not sure we are going to learn anything substantial.

Anna Salvatore, the 16-year-old founder of High School SCOTUS, a blog dedicated to America’s highest court and written entirely by teens, commenting on Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings. Salvatore got “hooked” on SCOTUS after reading a 71-page brief in Maslenjak v. United States and has interviewed the likes of Linda Greenhouse, Adam Liptak, Carrie Johnson, and Art Lien.
